Ms. Margaret Coughtrie serves as a senior analyst and client liaison for SIPCO.  She currently assists in the management of SIPCO's equity portfolios, and is the firm's Florida contact for our institutional clients and pension consultants.   She is also a member of the firm's investment committee.

Education

• M.A. (honors) in Economics from Edinburgh University;

• MBA and Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Strathclyde University in Glasgow.  

• CFA Level III Candidate

Background

Prior to joining SIPCO, Ms Coughtrie was one of the principals of Deco Capital, and managed the long/short equity fund known as Boadicea.  Prior to her position with Deco,  she was an international portfolio manager at one of Canada's largest institutions, CDP Global Asset Management, where she managed $1.5 Billion in assets.  She has prior experience with Allied Dunbar Asset Management and Prudential Portfolio Managers in London.
